Pubs closing are the result of pub companies (PubCos) making it unsustainable for a licensee to profitably run a pub - because they are asset-strippers who see more value in selling most of their estate to bottom feeder property developers to convert into flats to pay their shareholders dividends. They have no interest in the social aspect of pubs as assets of community value.

Together with our MP's who continue to tax beer and spirits sold in pubs whilst neglecting to do the same for supermarkets after totally deregulating off licencing laws

Why do you think they continue to do that?

It's a huge scam but most people don't know about it because they blame other factors instead of investigating the under-lying reality.

Yes, some immigrants drink less but the huge swathe of pubs closing up and down the country at large isn't down to them.

Country pubs in villages all over Tory-voting white middle England are being decimated as well.

There is a good reason for that...

After8 so my MP is telling me how hard he's going to crack down on rogue landlords eh?

I'll hold him to that then seeing as the bloke who owns the house next door has already had::

The largest cannabis farm seen round here
At least 1 illegal that we know of
A decent family who had to move on when the water had to be cut off because he wouldn't replace a tap
2 x boilers condemned because he got his local Bangladeshi chums in to sort it and British Gas forced him have it done properly
Empty bollockings for overcrowding because there were 7 adult males and 2 young boys living there

I'll let you know his response and what action happens as a result

Re: Immigration - how has it affected you personally?
Personally:

Plus side - Diversity of food and dress and decent folk I work with, and have worked with, of all ethnic backgrounds. Friends i now have that I played football with and went to school with. Comparing backgrounds / upbringing with those that are interested and are not judgemental.

Minus side - Living next door to between 5-7 taxi drivers who think it's OK to live like pigs. The f*cking irony of it!
Town getting overrun with Polish shops and never hearing an English voice in the town.
Pubs closure. Dogshit drivers who have clearly never passed a test
People happy to call me racist when they are just a c*nt. Being a c*nt doesn't belong to colour, race or creed but some people (a lot of whom seem to be more religious than others.....strange coincidence that) seem to believe they can behave how they like.

The club I have loved for all my life is now two thirds black.

A few sand niggers and wogs in the playground but apart from that none in my local or my circle of friends.

The food now available is stunning.

No other positives spring to mind.

I'm sure those who emigrate from here or another country who read, write and speak in English don't need much help...unless you are from somewhere where none of the above apply.

The U.S built itself up on unregulated free market economics fed by unregulated immigration.

I've had as varied experiences of immigrants as I've had of people in general. However, if I was to mention any particularly negative, then immediately second-generation Irish comes to mind. Provincial, ignorant, agressive and as the years went by almost invariably detained at Her Majesty's pleasure for some form of violent crime or other.

I get cheaper cleaners, builders, decorators and masseurs.
My mum is looked after by some nice people.
My delivery man says awhymay.
I get a cheery face at the deli.

when I applied for the my Green Card to the states I had to go through a strict and lengthy process, during which no government help was offered.

It's an unanswerable question because to obtain the reply one has to accept that this economic system is skewed towards the cheapest labour costs possible - which cause all manner of negative social side-effects.

As long as everybody wants to have their cake and eat it - we're all pissing into the wind

Unregulated free market economics feeds on unregulated immigration...

Why people have so much trouble putting both together I will never have any fucking idea

Anyone with half a brain knows that the multiculturalism experiment has been a disaster. Communities ethnically cleansed, towns split in half. Half of our children exposed to an inferior education, thousands more groomed, raped and sold to Pakistani taxi drivers. Our cultural and historical heritage questioned and ultimately diluted, one example of which is our historically lauded freedom of speech.

Yes, I reckon most of the English people have been adversely affected by the experiment none of us were asked to partake in.

It's not going to change. The damage was done years ago by Wilson and heath allowing the cunts in. You only have one choice if you don't like it - emigrate, because the wankers running the country are not going to do fuck all about it.

So the govt are going to fine landlords and employers who house/employ illegal immigrants, but when the govt catches said illegal immigrants, they will let them go and pay thousands of pounds to lawyers to see that they can remain.
